Here at the farm we love interacting with nature and bees are no exception. We understand that without the bees we would not have the ability to grow our own fresh fruit and vegetables. They are as much a part of our farm as the cattle.
In order to keep our bees happy and healthy we check in on them regularly and ensure they have everything they need. They repay us with their pollination services as well as a bit of honey from time to time.
To add to our service offerings we are now assisting everyday people to become bee aware and learn how to care for bees in their own backyard.
Bee Mentored is a service that we provide free of charge included with your purchase of a nucleus of bees or on a one on one session pack to build confidence before becoming a carer of bees. Use the contact link below to get in touch to discuss your needs.
Children aged 5 and up are welcome and encouraged to participate in beekeeping. Appropriate beeware is a must.
Bee Foster – There are a number of options from renting a hive to learn more and see if it is something you want to pursue as a hobby to assistance with setting up your very own hive. We offer pollination services to orchards as well as small holdings.
Bee Connected – We offer a Facebook group to residents of the Southern Downs Districts to provide community and education in beekeeping. Please join us.
So please get in contact with us via our contact page and let us know how we can help you.
